Ensuring Peace Of Mind With Sling Camera Bags

It is important for me to ensure some solid peace of mind when taking my camera with me by using a great camera bag. I like to take my camera with me anywhere for some amazing shots of nature, of people, and of anything else. It is nice to have a sturdy camera bag that I can use for some safe transport of my camera.

A good camera bag makes it really easy for me to take my camera with me on vacation or to the beach or to a mountain peak. I used to be notorious for losing my camera and I am so happy that I don’t have to worry about that anymore. I now can have my camera with me anywhere and I don’t have to worry about it getting lost or dropped.

Sling camera bags are comfortable to wear and they ensure that my camera is safely by my side. I love the sling bag that I have and that it has enough room not only for my camera, but for any accessories that I want to carry with it as well. I can have everything that I need all in one handy bag with my sling bag. It is a great solution for me.

Sling Camera Bags Are My Buddies Anywhere

Finding some handy bags for my camera means that I can safely take my camera with me on all of my adventures. I like to always have my camera with me so that I can be ready to capture some breathtaking mountain views or some adventures with people I don’t get to see that often. The right camera bag is an essential for me.

With some good camera bags, I know that I can always have my camera with me safely and conveniently. I don’t have to worry about the camera getting lost or dropped or damaged. I used to not have a good bag for my camera but I am so glad that I finally got the right one for my needs. Before I got a bag, I would lose or drop my camera all the time.

Sling camera bags make it really easy for me to take my camera with me comfortably and to keep it safely by my side. In bustling cities and on busy streets, it can be very easy to lose your camera if you don’t have a good bag for it. My sling bag is comfortable to use all day and I don’t have to take the bag off to access my things.

A camera bag that fits all my accessories.

mainAs you all know, I prefer to stick with a manufacturer I know for quality when choosing any new item for my hobby. We are all very familiar with the quality standards of Manfrotto in regard to camera tripods, but did you know they make camera bags too? I was pleased to discover this, as their manufacturing quality standards for other camera accessories precedes them.

The Manfrotto Adventure 1 Backpack is a structurally sound, high-capacity yet compact, backpack that I can also be modify to be used as a standard day pack. It will hold my DSLR and 2 lenses, my 15” laptop as well as my personal items and accessories. So the Adventure 1 will get me through a day’s photo adventure or a day of backpacking.

The bag has four zippered compartments. The top section is designed for personal items and the bottom for photo gear. I can fit plenty of accessories inside including a flash, laptop, documents and cell phone. The removable bottom insert allows me to transform the bottom half from a photo backpack into a handy day pack for all my personal gear. This is a very useful, everyday bag that is strong yet flexible enough to meet the needs of anyone who wants to carry and protect a wide variety of photo gear and personal items. It also sports a tripod attachment on the outside and fold-out rain protector.

Until next time, Happy Shuttering!

A camera bag that lets me travel light.

270_images_s_images_slrc_200I have a sling camera bag that is roomy enough to carry all my camera accessories with me, but sometimes I like to travel light. That’s why I own an SLR Camera Holster.

On days when I only plan to use my SLR camera and its kit lens, the SLR camera holster is light and comfortable to wear all day, on my belt or over my shoulder. It’s roomy enough to hold my DSLR, kit lens, an extra power pack, memory card, and even a lens filter or 2, in a squeeze.

It’s got a water-proof EVA base for stability and protection, while memory foam on interior of the lid protects my LCD screen. A front storage pocket holds my extra stuff just fine. It comes complete with a shoulder strap or slips right onto my belt. At 6 3/4 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches high by 6 1/2 inches deep it doesn’t take up much room while still having a roomy interior of 6 inches wide by 5 7/8 inches high by 4 5/16 inches deep.

Until next time, Happy Shuttering!

A camera bag when I want to travel light.

Camera BagSometimes I want to travel light, with only the camera equipment that I absolutely must have, while still staying organized and professional looking. On these days I carry my medium sized camera sling. This camera bag has ample room for my DSLR with one lens attached, an extra lens or two, my external flash, extra power pack, and extra memory cards. In black, this camera sling is stylish for upscale work, and also looks good when wandering along a trail in jeans.

The bag has individual pockets for each item, allows me to carry it three different ways, and allows open carry against my chest so that my camera is easily accessible while keeping it safe. At about half the size of my large sling, it doesn’t weigh me down nearly as much, and is much more comfortable when I have to carry it over a distance on foot.

The adjustable, padded dividers allow me to customize the camera compartment any way I see fit. So my camera equipment is always protected and safe. I have carried other types of camera cases, but I always seem to come back to the sling type. Guess it’s just right for me.

Until next time, Happy Shuttering!

A camera bag that I will carry everyday.

1 sling camera bagWhen I go shopping for a new bag for my camera and accessories, I look for a camera bag that I will carry everyday. In other words, it has to be stylish for dress-up occasions, rugged for mountains and back country, a light and comfortable carry all day long, roomy for all my camera stuff, and it should help keep me organized.

I prefer a large camera sling for everyday carry, designed to protect a DSLR, lenses, flash, and other accessories. Some are designed with three carrying configurations, a sling pack for either right or left shoulder. Or they can be worn like a backpack. With adjustable, padded dividers I can customize the camera compartment. A large black sling is stylish, rugged, and will fit a DSLR with a sizeable lens attached and extra additional lenses, while also holding my spare power pak, memory, lens filters, and more. Some styles will also hold a 15.6 inch laptop in a dedicated compartment.

At an empty weight of around 3.7 pounds, this pack allows me to pack light and the room to carry as much as I actually need. I also like the fact that I can carry it on one shoulder, with the zipper open against my chest, for quick access to my cameras and lenses while on the move.

Until next time, Happy Shuttering!

Sling Camera Bags Keep Cameras Safe

1 sling camera bagKeeping my camera protected while I’m out taking pictures is easier than you’d think. What I like to do is keep my camera in a bag that protects it from being damaged. It’s a bag that’s not too big, but not too small, either. It has enough space for extra lenses and such without it being too oversized. And it has nice padding that keeps the contents inside super safe.

My bag is why I really enjoy sling camera bags. They’re great for taking pictures on the go. When I go out hiking, for example, having this bag is a great thing to have. I can take pictures of nature as I continue along the trail. And when I want to take my camera on vacation, I never drop it in the sand or in the water. It’s always safely slung around my shoulder, even when I take it to the beach.

It’s really fun to take my camera to places I’ve never been before, too. And even if I don’t know the area, I can keep my camera in its bag to make sure it doesn’t get damaged. So I can go exploring without any worries when it comes to my camera. I can take pictures of new things everywhere I go.

How to select a lens filter for your DSLR?

To continue our discussion of the basic types of lens filter, the other two basic types are listed below. These two types are not used as frequently as the previous ones.

Rectangular Filters

Another popular choice among landscape photographers are rectangular filters. These filters are mounted just like square filters, via a filter holder system. It is impractical for graduated neutral density filters to be circular (due to different sizes of high-contrast areas and composition), so rectangular filters are the primary choice for landscape photography. And unlike square filters, there is more room to move up and down. The most popular size is 4×6, though larger and smaller sizes are available.

Drop-in Filters

These filters are used inside long telephoto lenses, due to the large size of the front lens assembly. Only clear and polarizing filters are available as drop-in filters.

Next time we will go into more details. Until then, Happy Shuttering!
